Shoe Shopping

Today Great Mommom and I took Olivia shoe shopping for the first time. It was so much fun and she did great. We went to Stride Rite in Altamonte and the lady was so awesome with Olivia. She measured her feet (Size 3, wow) and tried on a few shoes. Olivia just sat there and let her put them on her, she even tried to help.

She ended up getting a cute pair of new shoes with little pink flowers.

Olivia's First Boo Boo

Last night we were sitting on the floor in the living room with Olivia playing. She kept trying to pull herself up on her jumpy to reach the pig that was hanging there. Well, she couldn't quite get it and fell forward hitting her forhead on the side of the jumpy. She cried and Ben held her, but that wasn't enough so Mommy held her and gave her a fozen chew toy. All better, we put the toy on her forhead and she thought that was funny.

It is the first of many Boo Boo's. She is fine today and sporting her very first battle wound. She seems kinda proud of it.

8 Month's

Today Olivia is 8 month's old and again this has been a big month for us. We didn't have a doctor's appointment but we did weigh and measure her. She is steadily gaining weight at about 1pound a month, so no change there. She is definitely my little petite thing.

Weight: 15 lbs. 11ozs.

Height: 25 1/2 Inches

Ms. Personality is scooting all over the house like a pro now. Don't turn your back for a second because she won't be in the same place when you turn around. She can now sit up from a laying position all by herself and she is very proud of her new accomplishment. Its fun to watch her scoot to one place sit herself up, fall forward to turn a different direction, and then sit back up again.

I like to sit up.

She also got her first tooth this month, what a way to start the new year. It took her a few days for it to pop all the way through the skin and those were not the most fun times in our house. She has the other bottom one just about poked out as well. Olivia is also pulling herself up to a standing position, she isn't quite sure what to do from there. But it doesn't look like it will be long before she figures it out.

I think her favorite thing to do now is make this funny squealing noise, she sounds like a Valaserrapture. It's fantastic, when you walk in the house and she sees you and makes that noise. She gets so excited. She has also learned to put both her hands above her head when you say "So Big!" It's the cutest thing.

SO BIG

One night in the past week I put on Sound of Music for her and I to watch, I thought she would like the singing. I never expected her to make it through almost the entire movie and be that enthralled by the singing and dancing in it. Her Daddy and I were dancing all over the living room singing to her. It was the best night.

-Apples & Blueberries, Apples & Strawberries, and Peaches.

Favorite New Toy:
-My Pal Scout, he was programed with her name, favorite color, foods, and songs. She loves him.

Favorite Cartoon:
-Still Olivia on Nickjr.

Bath Time

Family Fun Day

It sure has been a very busy weekend and finished up welcoming the new year with a visit to Sea World. Olivia loves going to Sea World and checking out all the fish. We were really surprised that she would sit and watch all the shows.

The first day of the new year we spent with family and friends in Tampa at the Outback Bowl. It was a Big day for the Gators who were playing Penn State for Coach Myer's last game! We won in the last seconds of the game, it was great.
