I totally understand the hands/blanket/anything within reaching distance in the mouth for pictures thing, we have been there! I always say though it's better to remember what they were like for real than to just have generic smiling baby pictures. If she had anything and everything in her mouth that day then you will remember all the goofy stuff you did to try and make her laugh! You love her even when she's getting drool everywhere, so why not document that. :)
