More Babies

The Baker Family

We are so excited for yet more babies to be arriving in the spring. Our best friends Mark and Jenni are expecting baby #2 in April. Caitlin is going to be such a wonderful Big Sister, she has been practicing with Olivia.

We adore our little God Daughter

In January her younger sister Emily and her husband Chris are expecting their first child, a little boy. We could not be more thrilled for them and their families. It is such a wonderful time in our lives and we get to sit back and enjoy.

Mostly all the pictures I got she had her hand in her mouth or she was trying to eat the blanket. Maybe next time I will have better luck.

Olivia Meets Aunt Anna

Auntie loving her some Olivia

I have been looking forward to this visit for over a month now and am so excited that my other family got here!!! Olivia finally got to meet her Aunt Anna and I got to see the baby belly. Oh how I miss my best friend, and wish that she was moving back to Orlando! Even though Olivia was not in the mood to visit with guests after her morning shots, we made it through anyway.

Maybe another visit in November and then a baby shower coming next year!

4 Month's Old

Love of our lives!!!

4 Month Stats:
Weight: 12lbs. 12ozs. 25th percentile
Height: 23 3/4 inches. 25th percentile

My little one is 4 month's old today, she is growing right before my eyes. She has changed so much in just this last month, it's really unbelievable. Olivia is very curious about everything around her and anything she can get in her little hands goes straight into her mouth. She is still "Our Little Shark Mouth", because if she can't get it in her mouth she tries to attack it instead.

Little Tushie

Now that she is rolling over like a Pro, she has been trying to get moving. She is so close to figuring out how to crawl. I say before she is 5 months she will be crawling. But still all she wants to do is stand up, it makes her happy. If she could balance herself I know she would be running all around this house.

Waking up after her first night in her crib!

She is almost consistently sleeping through the night now and she hasn't even started on rice formula yet. But, since she was sleeping mostly through the night we decided that it was time to put her in her room. She loves it, so much more comfortable then a pack-n-play.

New Toy

She is also holding her head up really well now so she is able to play in her new exersaucer! She can almost reach the ground, but I don't think that she minds not bouncing when there is so much other stuff to play with.

"What do you taste like?"

While we were in Sarasota Olivia got to play in Caitlin's star float. I know we have a water baby on our hands, although she almost licked the face off. I said everything goes in the mouth even when it can't. She licks things like a lollipop, so funny.

1 Year and Counting

We can't believe that it has already been a year since we got married! A year filled with amazing changes, we moved twice, had our first child, my graduation, and many others. Now we look forward to a hopefully quieter year watching Olivia crawl, walk, and grow.

The View from our Room.

Ben, Olivia, and I hit the road on Thursday afternoon, headed to Sarasota to spend our Anniversary weekend. Our BFF's the Baker's would be there later that night so the kids could play and we could have fun adult time too.

Pool Time

The kids loved being by the pool and we had gorgeous weather the entire time, while Mommies and Daddies enjoyed the "Hurricane Hut"! At night we went to our favorite spot, St. Armands Square! Shops and restaurants my 2 favorite things to do. We even got to enjoy our cake topper, which we picked up on our way there. We had some issues with the old one so Disney made us a fresh one! It was delicious.

Bathing Beauty

It was an amazing weekend and a great way to celebrate both our Wedding's!

Happy Anniversary
to the most AMAZING Husband
that a girl could ask for!

As Ben and I look forward to celebrating our 1 year anniversary I thought I would share some photos of our special days. Yes, I said days. We had 2 ceremonies and 2 receptions. We were first married in the catholic church on September 16 and then at Disney on September 19. It was the most wonderful week, were able to make many memories with our friends and family that we will have to look back on as we grow old.

For the Catholic ceremony I was lucky enough to be able to wear my mother's 27 year old wedding dress. We made a small change to the sleeves and that was all that had to be done. It was a small simple ceremony with a reception at our family's wine bar. It was a very vintage affair and meant so much to me.

Thank you Katie for the beautiful photo's!

On September 19 we said "I Do" again in front of all of our friends and family at Disney. It truly was a fairytale day. If I could plan the whole day again I don't think I would do anything differently. It was PERFECT!

We did it...Again!

Heading to the reception

The most amazing moment!

We are now on our way to celebrate our Anniversary Weekend in Sarasota! Many pictures to come.

Going to the Chapel...

Congratulations are in order!!!

My cousin Amanda got engaged last week to her now Fiance, Josh! We met Josh last year at our own wedding and could not pick out a more perfect fit for our little cousin. Together they make such a great couple and know that they will be so happy forever!

A+J

They are currently working on remodeling their future home...nest! Maybe little cousin's in the future for Olivia? Don't worry Aunt Kathy I will not push that subject further.

We are so excited and can't wait for the wedding.

Go Bronco's

I dropped Olivia off Saturday evening at my parents house for her first night away from us. It was so hard, but we were headed to the condo. The car ride to the beach was entertaining to say the least, no one can say that DJ, Vicky, and us don't know how to make any trip fun!

The Crew

Ready to cheer on the Bronco's

Sunday we were off to Jacksonville to cheer on the Denver Bronco's, Ben's hometown team in their first game of the NFL season. It was such a hot day, but we had a great time despite the weather. Darla, Julie, Vicky, and I lucked out and scored the Suite Tickets. We stayed cool and dry during the game.

Kickoff

However, Dave, Ben, DJ, James, Jordan, and 3 of Julie's friends sat out in the heat and when the clouds rolled in they prayed for rain. They even "enjoyed" surround sound of a guy talking trash behind them during the whole game. Poor guys! But, it was worth it because we were there for Tebow's first ever NFL game.

Game on hold due to bad weather.

Waiting for the game to restart.

Back at the tailgate and ready
to head home.

I have to mention that Vicky and I entertained ourselves on the ride home...after MANY free beers in our suite, you can only imagine what it was like for the others in the car. What a great day!!!

Unconditional Love

So many people have asked me the same question...

..."Has having Olivia changed your life?"

My answer has always been the same...

"Yes."

The minute I found out that I was pregnant my life changed, for the better. We all know of the changes that go on physically during pregnancy, but not many share the ones that a first time mother goes through on the inside. You have another person who is relying on you to stay alive. It is a huge responsibility, one that Ben and I were ready to conquer.

Precious Olivia

However, to expand on my answer that yes, indeed having Olivia has changed my life. She is the most important person in it and the most fun we have had. My life has more meaning today then it did last year at this time. I never knew that someone so tiny could bring so much joy and fulfillment to me. I am satisfied sitting and watching her every move. I don't need to watch TV, I have daily entertainment in my own house.

Just before we found out we were expecting!

The moment our lives changed!

Ben and I still get to do the things that we did before she arrived, they just take a bit longer now. It's not easy to get out of the house quickly, because we would forget half of the things we need. There is a mental checklist that you must go through to walk out that door. Dinner out is sometimes a challenge, but one we manage to get through with tons of laughter. The one night at Chili's Ben was feeding Olivia and I was feeding Ben and myself. I do wish on more then one occasion that I had more hands! I run my errands with Olivia and mostly she is content to watch the scenery as we stroll through the mall or other places. Yet, there are other times where I feel like I am running a marathon where instead of cheers there is screaming and crying. I LOVE EVERY MINUTE!!!

Olivia is the biggest and best change in my life, I live for her.

I feel that Ben and I are closer and stronger because of her. She is teaching us a new way to love. One that is unconditional! There is nothing that she will ever do to make me stop loving her. Her smiles and laughter are what makes our world go round.

My New Passion

Pardon our drool.

Since the birth of Olivia I have discovered photography to be such an amazing passion. Now don't get me wrong I loved pictures before, but with a new energy now. I try to once a week do a little photo shoot with my aspiring model. This weeks turned out better then I expected and I wanted to share the photos with you.

First of Many First's

Today was a big day in the Morse household! While we were sitting having breakfast we had Olivia laying on her play mat. She was happily playing with her toys and trying to reach for one that kept eluding her. There it was so close, but still out of reach and then finally she got it. With that she ROLLED OVER right onto her little arms. Of course she didn't know what to do at that point so she just held her head up and laid there.

She has been getting really close for the last couple of weeks but never quite made it and today Ben and I were both there to witness it. What a spectacular moment one of many more to come.

I did get it on video and as soon as I can I will have it up on here for all to enjoy!
