A Day At The Beach

First time in swim diapers.

Sunday we were ready to enjoy the sunny-no-cloud-in-the-sky day that we missed during all the horrible weather this week. Car was packed, Olivia was asleep in her seat, and off we went singing country the whole way. That's one thing that I love about my hubby, no matter how badly we sing, we do it anyway! No judgement just singing.

We showed up with breakfast, or what McDonald's deems breakfast and most people were still sleeping. First come first serve, so we ate and chatted as they woke and joined us in the living room. Bravo was on TV with their all day Housewife marathon and I (a little addicted) was hooked so that's what we talked about. Hilarious!

Bear Bear Goes to the Beach

We slathered her in sunscreen, put her swimmies on, and headed to the pool. Bear Bear of course joined us and had we allowed probably been in the pool as well. This was the first time Olivia has really been able to spend any time in the water and enjoy it. She splashed and played for over an hour. OK it wasn't that easy Grandpa started to take her in the water and she freaked out. Surprisingly it only took about 15 minutes to get her used to it and past the first step. But then it was pure joy, she hung out in her float, and just smiled!

Not so much Grandpa!

Such a big girl!

Swimming with her grandparents while Mommy and Daddy played shuffle board.
It was a fun day spending time with the family, something we haven't done much of lately because all of us have been traveling so much or sick. After a few hours by the pool and some snacks she rested, Daddy napped, and I watched more Housewives before we headed back to reality. I wish that everyday was a beach day!
