March 21, 2012 Olivia came to the hospital to meet her new little brother! It was a beautiful moment that we were able to share with their Grandparents and Great Mommom. Daddy brought her into the room and she came right up to where I was sitting with Benjamin. She was waving and saying "Hi" to her brother and she even unwrapped his blanket and checked out his toes. I guess she wanted to make sure that all the parts were accounted for.
She asked to hold him so we set her up on the bed and it may have only lasted a brief moment before she changed her mind it was super cute. We spent some time visiting and she would continue to get closer to him and touch him. She even tried to climb on me which didn't go over to well, but she is learning. Since Great Pop Pop just had surgery she understands a little more about Mommy having a boo boo.

And then she got bored with the baby and just wanted to be in his little bed. After about an hour visit Gigi and Great Mommom took her home so she could play. All in all is was a great visit and she did way better with becoming a big sister then we expected.
